Election News: Newport By Election & May Council Election manifesto

Every vote for UKIP is a vote to protect our traditional culture and heritage

Dear UKIP South West member

A big thank you to all those South West members who made the short journey across the Severn to Newport on Saturday 23rd March to help our colleagues next door in UKIP Wales.  This week is the final full week of the by election campaign in Newport West. Polling Day is on Thursday 4 th April.
There is now a full scale constitutional crisis now enveloping the country as a result of the incompetence of the Tory “government” and the failure of Remainer Theresa May to honour and implement the result of the 23rd June 2016 Referendum.  Together with this there is a complete lack of Leadership from the “Leader” of the Opposition and from the Labour Party as the second biggest party in the House of Commons.Brexit and UKIP now need a good result in Newport West more than ever before.

Events are happening all the way up to Polling Day but there will be a big Rally and Action Day in Newport next Saturday 30th March.Neil needs YOUR help to send a clear message to Westminster that UKIP is back and will defend and protect the Referendum result – the ONLY party to do so.

We don’t need a million person March or a Parliamentary petition signed by people in North Korea.  We do need YOUR boots on the ground in Newport West, or your cash to help the fight, even if it is just £5 or even £1. Every little helps.

Party Leader Gerard Batten MEP will once again be in Newport supporting Neil Hamilton AM on Saturday 30th March. Please can you do the same?

Newport is unbelievably easy to get to from all parts of the South West, it’s just 30 mins from Bristol, 50 mins from Swindon, 40 mins from Gloucester.  There are no road tolls on the Severn Bridge any more and the rail service is quick and cheap ( super off peak on a Saturday).

Please contact Tom Harrison at tom.harrison@ukip.org or on 07496 934067 for  details of all campaign events in Newport West.  The campaign office is in a function room at Wetherspoon’s Queen’s Hotel, Bridge Street, Newport NP20 4AN and will be open from 9 am each day.

Thank you

Richard John Ford

UKIP South West Chairman
